How do I keep my dog hydrated during the summer months in Florida?

With Florida being one of the hottest states in the US it is crucial to make sure that your dog is always hydrated. Much as you would like for any human.

Some good tips for this are:
1) Make sure your dog always has plenty of cool water sitting outside for it. 2) When letting the dog out be sure that the dog has a place to sit under shade if he/she chooses.3) Do not let your dog run around outside for more than 30 minutes to 1 hour at a time.

In addition to these helpful tips, some good times to let the dog out are early in the morning (dawn) and between 6pm and 8pm (dusk). These times are good for the dog because it is not too hot and humid. Although, if you need to let your dog out between these times make sure that it is not any longer than 30 minutes at a time and follow the above tips.
